The Best Sweater.

This sweater is just the best. I can’t take full credit for the find – I first saw it on Liz + Alicia and marveled over how cozy it looked. I immediately ordered the cream one (as seen here) and wore it so much over the holidays that I went back for it in black. It runs rather big so definitely size down (I’m wearing a small and it’s pretty loose but I definitely wouldn’t want it to be any shorter). Just be prepared – it is so comfy that you won’t want to take it off. I got teased a little bit over the holidays as I wore it almost every day that I was home.

I had a really nice weekend. My plans on Saturday were derailed… as I mentioned in my Weekend Reading post, the plan had to been to head out East to the Hamptons for a fun dinner party. We decided against driving out there… the roads didn’t look great and we were worried we would end up stuck up there! (Not a bad place to get “stuck,” but still.) I was secretly excited for an “indoor day…” you know, one of those days where you don’t see anyone except maybe the delivery guy. I spent most of my day reading (I finished two books this weekend!) and getting ahead on blog work.

Yesterday I had a fun little date uptown with my aunt and my cousin. We started with brunch at The Mark, and then wandered over to the Guggenheim for the Agnes Martin exhibit. I mentioned this already, but it ends this Wednesday so if you are interested in checking it out, go today or tomorrow! Multiple friends had recommended it to me and I’m so happy we made it before it closed. So many stripes. I’m a big modern art person and loved Martin’s stripes + grids, and the colors she paired together were really interesting. There was this one sorbet striped piece that would make the loveliest sweater. Also, the Guggenheim is extra beautiful in the snow. 🙂

This necklace is a part of my collaboration with Ben-Amun. I hate to pick favorites but this is probably my favorite item in the collection as I wear it nearly every day. The collaboration is a limited edition so it will only be up for a couple more weeks!

Same. It got a bit excessive over the holidays but it really feels like wrapping yourself in a cloud!

I have these booties and love them! Totally random, but I like where your jeans hit you in them. Mine are all a little on the long side and bunch up and drive me crazy (I’m so picky haha). Hope your Monday is great 🙂

I love them too! They are so cute + comfy (and look just as great as the Rag & Bones for a fraction of the price. Every year or two (I had to get rid of the pair I wore the last two yrs) I buy a new pair and love that I can look cute and be comfortable without freaking out that I am going to ruin my expensive shoes!!!

Funny you mention the length of my jeans! I like how these fall as it highlights the frayed hem but have the opposite problem where all my jeans are always too short! Drives me crazy, I actually prefer it when my jeans bunch around the ankles a little bit!

So so pretty Grace! I’m so in love with those foldover clutches. Your uptown day sounds so fun, I haven’t been to the Guggenheim in a while but I need to make a return trip!

Thank you so much Diana!! It was a fun day. I love the Guggenheim – it’s like a giant shell, and really manageable to see everything in an hour or two.
