Fourth of July Style

For as long as I can remember I’ve almost always gone home to Cape Cod to spend the Fourth of July with my parents + sisters.  This year, we have a wedding on the Cape so are making the trip a week later, and I’m kind of bummed to be missing our little tradition.  My bf and I are going to have our own little fourth of July in the city this year.  We’ll watch the fireworks on the river, maybe grab lobster rolls at Pearl, and spend some time in the park.

Putting together this round-up was fun as these are the sort of pieces I live in most + love buying… if I were going home, this is what I’d pack…

Striped Top (also in pink!) // Coral Necklace // My new favorite lip gloss // My favorite texturizing spray to play up beachy waves. // Floral Dress (on sale) // White Cut-offs (on sale) // Star Earrings // Star Cuff // Tote // Red Gauze Tunic // Peasant Blouse (such a good neutral) // Silk Baseball-tee top // Short-Sleeve Oxford (it’s mens so size down) // Gold/Crystal Necklace // Red Starfish Ring // Flat Striped Espadrilles // Tan Sandals // My favorite bright lipstick at the moment… the shade is called Valentina.

Lastly, a great big citronella candle that also smells so good.  (Makes such a good hostess gift, too!)

Fireworks by the lake seems like a wonderful idea 🙂 Love these picks.. especially the dresses. Loose, free flowing dresses are so perfect for summer!

What a fun wrap up… totally agree that this is the stuff I love to live in. Cozy, cute and easy to wear. Obsessing over those soludos… had them on tagg earlier this week.
