Follain.

What to do in Boston 1

While in Boston two weeks ago, Kerrie pulled me into Follain (not knowing about my obsession with natural products). Oh my goodness. I might have made a scene. I immediately began gushing to the manager… “Oh! You carry W3ll People! And One Love Organics! Oh! and Ursa Major, Rahua, and Indie Lee!” Gushing. Picking up bottles, rubbing the different elixirs and potions into my skin… basically, just freaking out. It was as if their buyers had magically curated all of my favorite beauty brands (with the exception of Tata Harper) and put them together under one (incredibly chic) roof alongside several natural brands I wasn’t yet familiar with, like May Lindstrom (I almost purchased a bottle of her famous Youth Dew serum, which the girls in the store were all raving about as it’s packed with twenty different regenerating botanical oils.) Positively brilliant. I didn’t think places like this actually exist.

As it turns out, there are actually four of them. The healthy beauty store has locations in Boston, Washington DC, and Nantucket. They stock only 100% safe, effective, U.S. made products and are truly unlike any other beauty shop I’ve ever experienced. They also have a beautiful ecommerce site, and their own line of liquid hand & body soaps that can be refilled in-store. (I bought a bottle of lavender.)

We spent entirely too much time inside the store, but I’m really excited to now have a new online venue for natural products. And I’m really hoping that they open up shop in New York next!

Follain is one of my favorite stores! I actually started to switch over to natural products thanks to them two years ago. I lived right down the street from their first boston location and quickly changed my regimen. They sell the best products and all the girls who work for them are so nice and helpful! Such a favorite of mine! A must stop when people are in boston!

I love trying new natural products, especially if they haven’t been tested on animals 🙂
