Fleurs de Prairie Seeds of Beauty 2021

Do you remember Fleur de Prairie’s Seeds of Beauty campaign last year? They gave three incredible female-founded small businesses each $5,000 grants to help their professional dreams flourish. I was so honored to be an ambassador for the program. In fact, I love working with brands who believe in helping women. And through the program, I was introduced to some incredible small businesses.

If you are not familiar, the Seeds of Beauty campaign is hosted by Fleurs de Prairie to celebrate female-identifying creators and entrepreneurs by giving three winners a grant, plus business mentorship from marquee ambassadors to help them further propel their careers. The brand invites creators, artisans, and entrepreneurs to apply by illustrating their passions (within art, design, food, writing, and beyond), and share how they spread beauty in their own unique way. Those applying are also asked to share how they plan to use the money to grow their business and make their dream a reality. Last year there were three amazing winners: Eyewear Love Affair, The Reveller, and Amor y Queso.

I could not be more thrilled to team up with them again. AND I’m even more excited to share that this year (the third year of Seeds of Beauty!), Fleurs de Prairie will be doubling the grant amount… supplying each of the three winners with $10,000 grants to help fund their endeavors and further succeed. Additionally, each winner will receive mentorship from myself and Caila Quinn. To enter, go to this page!

Fleurs de Prairie is my favorite rosé. The brand name translates as “wildflowers”, a nod to the beautiful fields of wisteria, lavender, poppy, and sunflowers all over the South of France where the wine is sourced. This is a perfect wine to enjoy during the summer – it is light and crisp with citrus and floral flavors. Fleurs de Prairie rosé retails for $22 and pairs really well with warm weather dishes, like seasonal fruits, vegetables,. fresh fish, and other lighter proteins. It’s also great with a cheese plate… ideal for al fresco drinking!

A FEW IMPORTANT FAQ’S FOR YEAR THREE OF SEEDS OF BEAUTY!

WHO CAN APPLY?

The contest is open to legal U.S. residents of the 48 Contiguous United States and the District of Columbia, who are 21 years of age or older at time of entry.

DO I NEED A BUSINESS PLAN TO ENTER?

No! A business plan is not required. The judges will simply be looking for more information about your goals for the company. And how the $10,000 grant would assist you in achieving these objectives.

WHEN WILL THE WINNERS BE CHOSEN?

Here are some important key dates to keep in mind. I will be posting about these dates on my social media as well. Good luck, friends! I don’t have a say in choosing the winners BUT I would be so excited if one of my readers were to win.

  • July 23 – Deadline to apply!
  • August 16 – Top 10 Finalists Announced and Social Voting Commences (meaning you can also vote on who you think is most deserving of the seed grants!)
  • September 1 – Three Winners are Announced
