Festival Season.

One of my fun goals for the Spring and Summer is to go to more concerts. I’m always so up to speed on the latest movies and books, but as much as I love music – I never seem to pay attention to what bands are in town. This needs to change… ASAP. And this embroidered top is just the perfect thing to wear.

My rules for concert dressing:

1. Always wear flats. You’ll be standing for a long time and want to be focused on the music – not how much your feet hurt. If you must have a little height, go with wedges!
2. Carry a tote. I feel like at concerts and festivals I’m always accumulating stuff. You want an easy way to stash your stuff. {I usually also pack  a light sweater and/or a scarf if its outdoors… it always cools off later at night. I wrapped this scarf around my tote and thought it looked really cute – but it will also make for an extra layer later on.
3. Keep it light and floaty – concerts can get hot! A light blouse like this one, long loose necklaces and wrap bracelets… this is the time to break out your easy basics.
