What a month. I don’t know how February went by so quickly, but I’m glad we’re getting closer to Spring. This month’s favorite things round-up is one of my favorites so far, simply because I feel so strongly about each thing featured here. True love. Lots of jewelry (natch) two beauty products that are saving my life right now, a giant shoe crush, and the collab I am dying over!!! What were your fave things this month?
For more on why these were my faves…
DVF Loves Roxy might be one of my favorite collaborations in a long time. I’ve been such a huge fan of both brands for so long. I had a chance to pop by the launch event earlier this week and was impressed by the quality of the product – and the fact that the prints are very recognizably DVF.
I never quite understood why fanatics rave so much about Clarins’ Beauty Flash Balm. Then I tried it and saw for myself. Put it on after washing your face + moisturizing (right before makeup) and voila – instant radiance. I save it for days when my skin needs a special boost… it does not let me down.
I’ve been a fan of Ariel Gordon for ages and was so excited that we did a designer series with her over at BaubleBar! Tiny knots, signet rings… love it all.
These cuffs by Caliber are classic and cool. But the concept behind the brand is what is really awesome/amazing. They are made from recycled bullets + confiscated guns which is kind of cool, and proceeds fund gun buyback programs. You can choose from steel or brass, and prices range from $150 (minimalist cuff) to $1,275 (for a bracelet that contains eight diamonds.)
Lulu Frost’s 100 Years Collection is the stuff that (my) dreams are made of. The pieces are made from vintage parts that came from the 1860’s-1960’s (hence the name, 100 Years) and are all one of a kind. This necklace is just a little teaser.. the rest of the pieces are just as good!
I’m completely obsessed with these Rebecca Minkoff heels. If you buy one pair of shoes this season, these might have to be it. The wedge makes them super comfortable, but the metallic/nude combo makes them a) go with everything and b) super on-trend! I hope they are still in stock when my shopping ban ends!
This serum by Nuxe is a new favorite product. I’ve been burning the candle at both ends this month between work, the blog, and (attempts at) having a life… but no one can tell the lack of sleep thanks to this. It smells slightly like roses, and leaves skin dewy + radiant. A must-try, for sure.
