Oh you guys, I have so much to tell you about today! First of all, welcome back from the long weekend! I hope you had a nice Labor Day Weekend. Mine is still (sort of) going… my sister and I are flying home from Cape Cod today. Flights were so much cheaper to go Saturday through Tuesday and we’re both self-employed so that’s what we did. Our time at home was the best. Our parents were really surprised (we didn’t tell them we were coming). Lots of laughs with family, a couple good runs by the beach, and I read an entire book (this one – so many incredible twists and turns)! My only complaint is that the time we had went by too quickly… I’m not ready to go home! That being said, I’m eager to get back into the swing of things. I’ve booked myself into a Y7 Yoga class tonight which is quickly becoming my favorite… time to sweat out all that good food from my parents’ restaurant.
But anyway, the things! The clothes! First of all – I’m wearing two of the things I bought when I went to Trunk Club. These jeans, and these Vince sneakers. I love both so so much. The jeans are pretty much the greatest boyfriend jeans… casual but still slim cut (so much more flattering). And the sneakers are the coziest. I have been joking that they are my Fall/Winter solution to Birks.
Lastly, do you know about Twine & Twig? I recently became friendly with the two adorable girls who run it. The necklace I’m wearing is by them (a part of their brand new Fall collection that just launched), and I just love it. The brand does such a good job mixing organic elements… their pieces manage to be both laid-back and stunning. (I’m also so in love with all the cowrie shell pieces… the collars are so good!)

First, I love that your sneaker adds a casual, cool vibe without looking like it belongs to the gym or on a skateboard. That’s what I hate about most sneakers and the sneaker trend. Lastly, I love that your structured, fancy bag makes the whole look not as casual as it otherwise would look – which I love 🙂 I always like a little elevation to any look.
