A Really Good Mail Day…

FabFitFun fall 2017 box review | The Stripe

If there is one thing we can all agree on, it’s that getting mail is always fun… especially when it’s a surprise! That’s what drew me to subscription boxes at first, although I actually gave up most of my subscription boxes when I moved. I felt like it was just too much stuff, too often. When FabFitFun approached me about partnering to review their new Fall box, I spent some time playing around on their site and got excited. I LOVE that it contains a mix of full size fashion, beauty, fitness and lifestyle products… stuff you’ll actually want and really use. It comes out once a season (as opposed to every month) and retails for $49.99 (but the box value is always over $200!) On top of that, every season they pick a different charity partner (this month’s is UNICEF which is one of my personal favorite charities as they make such an impact with children around the world).

I’m going to tell you about the Fall box (and everything that’s included) below… but if you use coupon code THESTRIPE you can take $10 off your first box! Sign up now before it sells out.

**Updated 10/4/17: The Fall box is now sold out, but you can still use my code for $10 off your first box, which will be the Fall Editor’s Box (a selection of their Editor’s favorites!)

I was really impressed with the box. Out of all of the subscription boxes I’ve tried, this had the most amount of products that a) are full-sized and b) that I would actually use. And I loved the range. It’s the perfect mix of beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and fitness.

I LOVE this cozy wrap – it was my favorite thing in the box. It’s huge and super soft and will be especially nice on long flights. I took it with me to the movies on Saturday and it was like having a (fashionable) blanket with me.

Besides the scarf (in my opinion, worth the $49.99 alone, the box was packed with other goodies. As a beauty junkie, I’m especially excited about the Apple Cider Vinegar hair rinse as I’ve heard it does a great job clarifying and leaves your hair so shiny! (I’ll be sure to report back with a more thorough review as soon as I’ve had time to really test it….)  and the clay mask from Whish, which is actually one of the first brands I ever wrote about on my blog (their products are so luxe and always smell heavenly). And how cute is that gym bag? Motivation to actually go… ha ha.

This is everything that’s in this month’s box which is still available… but you can see what has been in other boxes here!

I love the look of that gym bag and how did you get on with the ACV hair wash? I’ve been curious about that brand for awhile.

        Hi Grace!
Just a suggestion but I have used the ACV rinse for a while and do find that it a.) removes buildup especially from products (dry shampoo I’m looking at you!) and b.) can be a great alternative to a daily wash if you have had a workout etc. HOWEVER try to experiment with how much you use because if you don’t use enough and thoroughly massage it in your hair does not feel as clean as it would post regular wash. Once I got the right amount required for my thick hair I think it works great and try to use it once or twice a week followed by conditioning the ends.

That seems like a great box! I think subscription boxes are great because we can try different products we’ve probably never used and find some really good things that match us perfectly.

I totally agree! It’s a fun way to get access/test new things we might not otherwise learn about!
