Oh my goodness, these photos make me so happy! I am still reliving my whirlwind trip to London and then the English countryside (Norfolk). We spent the first two nights of a trip in London at the Edition Hotel and then we headed out (early early!) to Monica’s office in Norfolk, where she treated us to a homemade lunch and tour of the office. From there, we headed to a photo shoot, checked into our charming hotel, and then got all dolled up for the most incredible private black tie dinner at Holkham Hall. What. A. Night. I say it in the video but it was an experience I will probably never forget… we were totally living the Downton Abbey life. 😉
This trip was such an incredible adventure and I love reliving it through the photos and video! I feel like video is such a fun way to take you along on trips like this. It’s definitely a lot more work but so much more fun. I really hope you enjoy it!
PS – I wore my favorite off the shoulder shirt. I have worn this top so many times and it never lets me down. Even when it gets rumpled (definitely the case with an early morning and three hours in the car!) it still works. It’s definitely a fantastic wardrobe staple.

To dinner, I wore this steal of a dress (I can’t believe it was under $150 -it comes in several other colors including a fun leopard pattern), my trusty ultra comfy Steve Madden sandals, and a gorgeous vintage fur that had been passed down to me. (This faux fur stole will give you the same look.) I love wearing a yellow dress to a black tie… it’s unexpected, always stands out, and makes me think of How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days.
PS – This yellow dress is very similar. I chose mine because I didn’t love the ruffles over the chest, but it’s another great yellow option!
