So, it’s December 1st and I am not wearing tights. I’m either crazy, or we’re having an unseasonably warm winter. I think it’s most likely a mix of both. And besides, I am wearing the cutest shoes ever and it’s much easier for you to see how cute they are without tights on underneath. This is my go-to outfit recipe when I have a busy day of meetings with evening events afterward. A cute dress with sleeves (to stay warm + professional during the day), great heels, + understated jewelry.
LOFT has so many cute, easy pieces right now… especially when it comes to their assortment of dresses. I ended up going with this shirtdress as it’s just so me (drop waist, looser cut, shorter length) but there were so many things that I wanted. A few other strong contenders: this velvet swing dress (it looks so much more expensive than it is), this silky midi dress (could pass for Ulla Johnson), and this patterned dress (which I am probably going back for – it’s just so happy)!
I also ended up taking home this cozy turtleneck – it will be in a future post, but it’s so soft and it’s the perfect shade of blush. And I looove this swing sweater – it looks like something Jackie O. would have worn!

But seriously… could there be a more perfect party shoe? That happens to also be under $100? (Added bonus – if you are frazzled and don’t have time for a pedicure, no one will have any idea.)
I also scooped up this uber cozy cardigan. It’s so thick and soft. I have spent a LOT of days in the past weeks wearing it at my desk (it’s the coziest and so comforting + snuggly on stressful days), but it’s so warm that it can double as a (light) jacket outside. Once you put it on, you won’t want to take it off.

Also – I bought the velvet swing dress from Loft last week and cannot say enough good things about it! I wore it to a fancy dinner and I think it’ll be perfect for the office with a turtleneck underneath!
Such a great look, Grace. Comfy, easy, yet still festive!
