You need this cape. Just trust me. I first spotted it on Liz and Kendall and then J.Crew had their sale so it was all over for me. I like that it’s structured like a scarf (you could even wear it as one if you really wanted) but has little slits in it for your arms to wear it like a cape. Capes can be kind of annoying to move around in, and that’s not the case with this one! As it’s thinner like a scarf, I think it will also be cute worn over a lighter jacket when things cool down a bit.
Cabo has been so nice. I’m here with 3 journalists/bloggers from Canada and 2 from the US. It’s been fun exploring a new place and making new friends along the way. Yesterday we went for a long bike ride along the coast and it is the most relaxed I’ve felt all week! And the festival itself has been really cool + interesting. On Wednesday evening we saw Jackie, and last night we saw a documentary about Natalia Lafourcade and then were treated to a very intimate concert. I hadn’t been familiar with her before but now I’m obsessed – I definitely recommend checking her out… she’s incredibly talented. We have two more jam packed days (+ evening premieres) and then I head home on Sunday!
Outfit Details: J.Crew Cape // Joie Marianna Sweater (also here, here, here, here + here) // Rag & Bone Frayed Skinny Jeans (also here, here, + here) // Manolo Blahnik Heels // Otte Bag // Julie Vos Large Link Bracelet // Julie Vos Baroque Cuff // Krewe Julia Sunglasses
I had to take the cape off to show you the back of this sweater – it’s just so, so pretty! If you order it, definitely size down. I initially ordered a medium and it was enormous on me. The small is still nice and loose, without being huge! It’s also available here, here, here, here + here.
