Easy + Elegant Hostess Gifts!

Can you believe that Christmas is just 13 days away? That terrifies me a little bit. I’m still working away at getting my holiday cards out and still have quite a bit of shopping to do. Oops. I always say I’m going to get ahead, and then the holidays happen and I get crazy with work and all plans for being ahead and on top of things go out the window! The best part for me (besides how magical the city becomes) are the parties and events. I love getting dressed up, seeing friends, and sipping holiday inspired cocktails.

I hosted my own holiday party last night (more on that to come), and have three more parties between tonight and tomorrow, and I never like to show up empty-handed. Today I’ve teamed up with Pier 1 to share a few fun party-perfect gift ideas that I really love… enjoy!

So, candles sound a little basic but they are always a crowd pleaser. Pier 1 has some really pretty ones. My two favorites are these multi glitter pillars, or these gold beaded pillars. You could show up with one, wrapped in a giant red bow, or put a few into a pretty box or basket.

I also love this LED Christmas tree. It makes for the perfect centerpiece, and is a surprisingly great price! It comes with twinkle lights + batteries and is basically ready to go. Mine (it’s the smaller 12″ size) is currently living front and center on my coffee table… so much for giving it as a gift! 😉

These rattan glitter balls also make a great gift. Take a large bowl or oversized mason jar and add three or four!

And how cute are these salt and pepper shakers? Love the little reindeer. They come boxed together as a set, which makes for easy wrapping.

This option photographed a little bit funny, but I hope you can understand the gist of it. I took a large mason jar and filled it with a faux fur garland and a strand of twinkle lights. So festive and fun… and a fun DIY take on giving a centerpiece.

Lastly, ornaments always make a great gift. This oversized star is so beautiful, and could also double as a tree topper… and these little stars are perfect for trimming the tree.

Grace, I finally bought myself a treat from Baublebar from their Buried bauble. Can’t wait to get it.

I don’t usually give much thought to what to bring to an event besides food, alcohol, or flowers so this was a nice take on that. Thanks, Grace!
