Early Summer Edit

There’s nothing like a new season (we are unofficially into summer?) and I have been shopping quite a bit lately. Today’s post is all things I have and really love. You’ve likely seen many of them on my Instagram but it’s always fun to go into more depth on WHY I love them over here. As you can see, there is a LOT of color here!

A few highlights: First of all, the dad sandals. They are so comfortable and cute. Just love them. I did a little digging and Saks has them on sale in a few different colors (white, olive, orange!). I think all the colors are great but to me, the orange is the best as it’s fun and happy. The more neutral colors just skew a little too far “dad” if you ask me? (I feel the same way about my Chanel dad sandals… the gold is fun and fashion-y, keeps them from being too fuddy duddy).

This passion fruit syrup is so yummy. It is a fun way to punch up a vodka or tequila soda… or, just plain seltzer during the day! This is one of my favorite white tops, it is really pretty and really comfortable. Perfect for the work day. But also, my favorite mascara. I got it for my mom and she loves it too. Lastly, jewelry: these $75 turquoise studs could pass for Brent Neale and I’m having a big moment with Dorsey: these and these are just the most fun and sparkly without breaking the bank.

Five-year-old me is screaming over the Pucci Mini – It reminds me of the dress in the children’s book The Dress I’ll Wear to the Party by Shirley Neitzel only without the chicken heads. (It’s a lot cuter than it sounds)

Haha I love that!!! I love this dress. It’s so fantastic. I bought it for Italy and had to stay covered up as it was so cold and rainy… but it needs to make its Charleston debut soon!

I can’t even begin to afford the Chanel dad sandals, but I was inspired by your choice of gold and bought the metallic Tevas (at $65) instead. Not quite the same (haha) but they are weird and fun and the sparkly finish keeps me from feeling like I’m ready to go kayaking.

I love the tevas! I feel like it’s a super similar look and the sparkle makes them fashiony.
