This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Drybar. All opinions are 100% mine.
As a girl with naturally thick hair, I can make a blow out last. And last. It’s kind of my superpower. But around the second or third day, I need a little help which is where dry shampoo comes in (know that meme, “My hair is 99% dry shampoo” – that’s me). I loooove dry shampoo but hate how gritty it can feel… my hair will look good but if anyone gets close enough to touch it, it feels pretty disgusting.
Recently I had the opportunity to test out Drybar’s new Detox /Whipped Dry Shampoo Foam and I fell in love. It’s totally different from anything else I’ve tried. The consistency is almost like mousse – you dispense a bit, rake it through your roots, and massage until it’s dry. What I like most about it is that it’s really lightweight. It absorbs oils and odors immediately but the formula is actually powder free so you don’t get that heavy, gritty feel… my hair actually felt softer after using it which is something I haven’t experienced with dry shampoo. I should also mention that I love the scent. As with all of Drybar’s hair products, this smells fantastic – Drybar’s signature Blanc scent has notes of coconut, vanilla + amber which together smell very clean and fresh.
These are the before photos. You’re looking at me, 3 days after a blowout. I hadn’t added any additional product to my hair yet.
Shake well and dispense a golf ball sized dollop of product into your hand. Note that I used more than the average person as I have very, very thick hair. If you have fine, thin or short hair you should use half of the amount of product I use!
And massage it in.
I massaged it into the roots… first raking it through my roots and then doing a gentle scalp massage.
And here’s the after… nice and refreshed and my hair is no longer flat and greasy looking… just bouncy and ready to last another day or two!

I love the packaging of the shampoo! It’s such a classy, clean look for a product that sounds great.

Do it! This is my new favorite, hands down.
I have been wanting to try this whipped dry shampoo as I’ve heard such good reviews of it! I typically like the spray but next time think I’ll grab this one!

It’s a game changer – I am obsessed!
I have extremely oily hair and dry shampoo is my best friend even though I hate the feeling it gives my hair most of the time. That product seems amazing! I love that it’s so different from everything else because it’s foam. I should really try it out, thanks for sharing!
Ooh you should give this a try – I am obsessed!!

Thanks friend! Recognize the dress? 😉

It’s brilliant!!!
Grace, your dress, I die….. Where can I get this?!
of course! It’s from this random site called Lola and the Boys! Linking it here: https://lolaandtheboys.com/product/long-chiffon-gown-mommy-and-me-bali-leaf/
Note that sizing is tight – size up… I got a large and it is a little tight in the shoulders/rib cabe. Hoping it will stretch out as it’s inexpensive!
Thank you!

Hi Shira! I got it from this random store! https://lolaandtheboys.com/product/long-chiffon-gown-mommy-and-me-bali-leaf/ xx
I am a dry shampoo fanatic, so I’ll have to try this! Foam sounds like a really cool and efficient way to dispense the product without dulling the appearance of hair color.

Drybar dry shampoo is the best but didn’t know about the foam. Now if only my blowouts would last more than a day . . . ordered the dress but holding breath that a large is going to fit!
The foam will change your life!!!
The dress runs really small. The large fits me but barely, it’s tight across the shoulders.
