Over the past few years, drugstore beauty has come a long, long way. But one thing (until recently, in my opinion) had been lacking: the self-care department. Sure, you could go the DIY route and pick up a bag of Epsom salts and some essential oils, but if you wanted a mask… a special night in… you couldn’t really get it at the drugstore.
Until now. Do you guys remember Freeman? They made the first beauty product I ever purchased… probably in 8th grade. It was a cucumber peel off mask. I remember it so vividly. Anyway, Freeman is back and better than ever with their new Beauty Infusion line. Now at your local drugstore, you can find these serum-infused facial masks – made with naturally derived botanicals and scientific ingredients.
There are so many innovative product forms. They’ve got clay, they’ve got cream, (YES!) they have peel-off, and even sheet masks. Sheet masks. At the drugstore! This makes my heart sing. And just like their fancy department store counterparts they are infused with powerful, concentrated ingredients – collagen, vitamin c, probiotics, and peptides.
Beauty Infusion line is the newest addition to the brand’s line, and all of the masks are infused with serum. I was especially taken by the in-shower mask, as I’d never tried anything like it! It’s a gel mask/scrub hybrid that works while you shower. (Love a good multi-tasker.) You apply it to dry skin before showering, leave on 5-10 minutes, and then gently massage to exfoliate while you rinse off. It left my skin so soft and also smells amazing.
Of all the sheet masks, the purifying is actually my favorite. (I say actually as I have dry skin so in general, purifying masks are often too harsh for me.) This one is very gentle but it also manages to clarify your skin… reducing oil + shine and preventing future breakouts.
I have to say, I wish every brand made portable travel sized pod versions of their masks. I have never seen anyone else do this and I think it’s positively brilliant. For one, they make it so much easier to try… for another (anyone else do this?) I always sample beauty products when I travel… and since I travel alone quite a bit for work, I love to bring along a new mask to try. These are just perfect (and sorry for making this about aesthetics), also really cute!
Lastly – All of Freeman’s products are free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oil, and not tested on animals.

Based in Hong Kong, I’ve never heard of Freeman before. If only their products were available here too!

I think you will really love it!
Totally going to try some of these! I agree – I would much rather try a sample before buying a full size of a mask! Thanks for sharing!
Of course!! The small sizes are everything!
Origins makes single “serving” masks too. I agree- I wish more brands did that!
It’s so, so smart!!!!
My sister got me hooked on doing this. Bring your samples as your skin travel arsenal. You get to try new things and the sizes are always TSA approved! I can’t wait to try this line, everything looks great. I’m walking by Ulta today!
