The Undereye Corrector I Can’t Get Enough of.

One product that really impressed me this month is DRMTLGY’s Luminous Eye Corrector. I bought it on a whim after seeing it in an Instagram ad. Sometimes, I’ll see something in an Instagram ad and then go over to Amazon and buy it. And I’m glad I did, as this product is no joke: it works!

My only caveat is marketed as a hydrating tinted eye serum but I don’t find it very hydrating–I definitely need to apply eye cream before I use this. (I do have very dry skin, so maybe you won’t!) But this + eye cream (I’ve been using the new Augustinus Bader rich eye cream) together results in such a brighter undereye area for me. Dark circles don’t have a chance!

DRMTLGY Luminous Eye Corrector Review

I bought this product in shade FAIR. When it comes out of the tube, it’s very light. This was jarring at first. Did I buy the wrong shade? No. But I just massaged it in (I apply all around the eye, getting my eyelid too) until it’s absorbed and wow — the results are fantastic! I think you want it to be a little brighter. Once it’s blended in, it looks very natural.

This works so well thanks to four different shades of peach undertones, which cancel blue-ish under eye tones. So it isn’t just a concealer or an illuminator (love both of those things!); it’s also a color corrector. I like that it has anti-aging ingredients (peptides, snow mushroom, ceramindes). And I love that it has SPF protection too.

These photos are totally unretouched and taken immediately before and after (so the lighting is the same!). Honestly, I feel a little self-conscious as I don’t look my best; I was tired and still waking up! But I wanted to share them because . . . they show the difference; and also: real life! I am 43 and have fine lines around my eyes and that is okay. I like that the product works with my fine lines (it doesn’t settle in or look cakey).

Thanks for being so real and leaving photos untouched, which is vulnerable! You look great in both photos, and I appreciate the rec as I’ve been looking for a product that works!

I have been using this for about three months and like it better than any other concealer I have tried in the last few years.

This looks promising to me. I am wondering if you mix the product with your eye cream and apply them together/mixed or do you apply your eye cream first and then this on top of it?

This is so timely! I’ve been seeing it all over my Instagram, too, and wondered if it actually works. You look great! I’m sold – just bought it! Any chance you have a recommendation for a more affordable eye cream? Thanks and happy weekend 🙂

I got the ads too and have been considering this for a month at least, and when I saw you mention it in a substack newsletter that cinched the deal for me. And agree – it’s great stuff, really works! Thank you!
