Out of all of my clothes, this (now very old) C. Wonder dress is one of those pieces (also seen here + here) I reach for again and again and again. A little polka dot dress is just so classic and versatile! I’ve had this one forever now but have linked to a few very similar options below. If you don’t have a great polka dot dress I’d suggest getting one. You can wear it with pretty much everything, but it’s a little more interesting than a regular old LBD. Here, I just added a classic red bandana but it’s equally cute paired with a denim jacket, with tights + black booties, or even layered over a black turtleneck when the temps cool down.
I hope you guys are having a great week! Apologies for missing a post yesterday (I never miss a post!!)… after all of the birthday shenanigans and travel, I needed a day off yesterday. On Tuesday evening I hosted a fun birthday happy hour at Gilligan’s (my most favorite spot for an outdoor cocktail!) but prior to that I’d been going, going, going between Charleston, the debate, and a few other life things. We’re back to regular programming over here and I have some fun stuff planned for the next few days!

So freaking cute!
Thank you Erin! xo
The dress is cute on you. I’m not really a polka dot fan but I can see your stance on it being more interesting than the LBD and just as versatile. Also, question about the fit of your / any Burberry trench coat. I want one in the future. How do you find the fit in the back and armpits when you lean forward? My current trench from Banana Republic, which is a great affordable option, I’ve noticed generally fits me but when I reach forward its tight. Like maybe I’m making gains in the gym but I wonder. But yeah, how do you find the sizing? Happy birthday again btw! 🙂

I would definitely recommend trying your Burberry trench on in person. I find they are cut a little narrow through the shoulders. I am usually a size 6 in jackets/tops/dresses, and went with an 8 in my trench!
You’re looking so pretty and Western chic in this outfit! I’m loving your dress and bandana!

Ah, RIP C.Wonder! Seriously, why did that store have to go? I know there’s something similar on QVC now but it’s not the same :/ I remember seeing this dress in stores, I love a piece that you can wear over and over again like that!

I know!!!!!
I feel the same way. Some of their stuff was cheap / a little overpriced at times… BUT then there would be such great gems like this, and my favorite fur coat. I’m so glad I got this dress… it’s one of my all time faves! xo
Cute dress! Lovely!
