DIY: Spike Cuff

Spike-Bracelets-Final

This past fashion week I found myself incredibly inspired wherever I went, but one of the most inspiring evenings was spent at Owen (an amazing boutique in Manhattan’s Meatpacking district, at a party for up & coming jewelry designer, DylanLex. DylanLex’s jewels are among my ultimate (bucket-list, someday) most lust-worthy dream purchases, but I also came across these super chic + edgy studded cuffs by Monica Sordo. I immediately thought to myself… I could make that! (or something kind of like it, at least) and so I did. This is an extremely easy project, great for beginners… you just may need some patience with the glue. (I recommend letting the top studs dry, then doing the sides, one at a time to prevent the studs from slipping!)

Materials:

Carefully apply glue to the back of one stud.

Apply smack in the middle of the center of your cuff.

Add two more studs, 聽and allow to dry.

Slowly add studs to the sides, and allow to dry.

And done! (See? so easy.) Once the cuff is dry, just peel away any excess glue.
