My third floral arrangement with L’Atelier Rouge might just be my favorite, because a) it’s incredibly creative, and b) it’s a great way to repurpose something you probably already have… your Christmas tree! This one, while easy to make, does take quite a bit of time (attaching the individual bundles of baby breath is time consuming…) but it is so worth it. If you get a few people to help you with it, it will go by much quicker.
PS – Check out our other holiday tutorials here + here!
You’ll Need…
- Pine Tree (stripped) // aka, the top of your Christmas tree!
- White Baby’s Breath
- Pine Cones (optional: spray them silver with spray paint!)
- Floral Wire + Clippers
- Large Vase
Begin by clipping off a little bundle of baby’s breath, as shown above.
Using a piece of florist’s wire, attach it to a branch on your pine tree by wrapping the wire around the branch.
Continue, until the entire tree is covered in baby’s breath.
Insert it into a large vase.
Using more floral wire, begin attaching the pine cones to your tree.
Done! So pretty!

That’s really pretty and unique, I haven’t seen anything quite like it before. Also love your dress, can I ask where that’s from?
of course! it’s from joie… it’s old though. i wore it in this post! http://thestripe.com/2015/09/beautiful-lengths-todays-the-day/
Such a good idea.
Will try surely…even in summer with different kind of flowers.
Will check on you for new ideas!
Thank you,
Roxy
I’ll never forget the Christmas tree at the El Tovar lodge at The Grand Canyon. Each branch was decorated with babies breath resting upon it, like snow. Ethereal!
This is definitely a Beauty
