After seeing this post on Kim France’s blog “Girls of a Certain Age,” I was inspired to create my own easy, elegant necklace. This one is incredibly easy to make, and something you can wear every day. I wear mine all the time (it’s great on its own or layered with a few other simple necklaces.)
Note: This will be my last rough cut crystal project for a while, clearly I cannot get enough!
Materials: Rough Cut Crystal Beads // One 2 inch Eyepin // Two small jump rings
Jump Ring + Clasp // Silver Chain // Pliers
Start by taking your eye pin and bending it in a curved shape like above.
String on your beads, one by one… using the shorter ones on the side and the longest in the middle.
String on the remaining beads.
Close it off, forming a loop with your pliers.
Gently open up each loop and connect a piece of chain to each side.
Add a clasp (using one jump ring) to one side.
Add a jump ring to the other side, and done!
