Dirty Martini Night.

With my group of friends, it isn’t a true girls night if dirty martinis are not involved. Recently, I hosted a few of my closest girlfriends for a cozy little party in my apartment with help from Absolut and their gorgeous limited edition Electrik bottle. Dirty martinis, pomegranate vodka sodas, and good company + conversation into the wee hours of the night. It was so much fun to have my girlfriends together and catch up… as we get older, these nights get fewer and farther between!

Absolut recently launched new mobile site called Hoppr (a part of their Nights program – dedicated to taking your nights… in and out… to the next level).  I would think of Hoppr by Absolut as a “matching site” for parties. It’s only available in New York City right now, but allows party throwers to upload parties (where users can accept or decline attendance) and partygoers to request an invite to attend. Such a fun idea!

The new Electrik bottles come in silver and blue and also double as beautiful holiday decor! 😉

My recipe for the perfect dirty martini is as follows: 2.5 oz. Absolut Vodka, a splash of Vermouth and .75 oz. Olive Juice. I let it chill, shake, and serve up. If I have time I like to freeze my martini glasses ahead of time for an extra frosty drink.

This time around, I was ambitious and stuffed my olives with blue cheese. It’s a little bit of work, pitting the olives and replacing them with cheese, but makes such a yummy difference!

Not everyone wanted a dirty martini so I also served up Pomegranate Vodka sodas… (pour 2 oz. Absolut over ice, fill almost to the top with club soda, top off with pomegranate juice and garnish with a few raspberries.)

So cute that you are dressed up for each other too! What about the gorgeous glassware you are using ? It looks like the beginning of a fun night. I don’t see any food, I hope you girls had something to soak up all that alcohol.
