I really, really love his little white dress. Most of my white dresses are a little more bohemian… and/or lace. This one is made from a really thick (flattering) thick stretch jersey. It’s very comfortable, but also a little more polished. DVF does not know how to make a bad dress, but this is definitely a favorite.
I hope you guys had a great weekend! Mine was really nice. I was out East for a few events (first the Caudalie thingย on Thursday… more on that later today, and then two parties with The Daily Front Row). We also ate at two of my favorite restaurants… lunch at Bostwick’s, and dinner at Moby’s… both in Easthampton. On Saturday I found myself really missing my own bed (I have been having terribleย insomnia – anyone have a cure?) so I took a late jitney home, making it back just in time for the tail end of myย friend’s birthday… and gettingย a good night of sleep in my own comfy cozy bed.
Also: I finished We Were Liars. It was a quick read but so amazing. The twist at the end really threw me for a loop. I was near tears and so emotional. I will talk more about it in my September reading list but oh my gosh… if you are looking for a good book, pick this up!!

Thank you so much, Natali! I hope you have a great week ahead!!!
Insomnia aside, it sounds like you had the best weekend! Loving the monochromatic styling of this look, lady! Happy Monday!
Thanks lady! Hope you had an amazing weekend! Xoxo
Do you have a good bedtime routine? That helps me a lot!
I try to turn off all electronics an hour before bed. Do some light stretching or a few restorative yoga poses. Then I sip chamomile tea and journal all the thoughts swirling around my head.
And if none of that works – there’s always melatonin ๐
Hi Rachel,
I probably need a better one! I do a lot of things like limit screen time, sleep with my phone in the other room, cover the alarm clock… and I have my bedtime skincare routine but tea sounds nice! xx
I’ve tried tea, yoga breathing, and everything else…melatonin changed my life.
Love love love this all white look! This dress is a cute transitional piece!
PS: I LOVE Moby’s! So good!
Pink Champagne Problems
Thank you Dana! And yasssss to Moby’s! We will be there next weekend, maybe I will see you? xo
Really cute dress, so simple and pretty.
Thank you, Marta! xo
I love the way the dress is at the bottom. It’s very…structured and modern and contemporary feeling. Like a piece of museum art work turned into a dress.
Also, I have also been having insomnia for the past month and I wrote a post about 6 tips for relaxing + better sleep. You can find the full post here: http://bit.ly/2b4VWyb. One of the things I mention doing is covering my clock. I would just feel pressured if I had to wake up early and seeing the clock adds even more pressure!

Thanks Thuy! I am off to check out your post now!!!!! I cover my clock too (and sleep with my phone in the other room – it really does help!)
Absolutely love this dress…and it looks fab on you ๐

Aw thank you Emily – appreciate it! xo
I love this so much – timeless and classic!
Thanks, Amanda!
GORGEOUS!!!!
Thanks, Laura! xx
Melatonin has been worked my for me but it didn’t in college when insomnia was pretty bad. To be honest, the best thing I’ve ever tried was pot. Drift off easily and no hard wake-ups or hangover. That said, I have a few nights a year that for whatever reason (stress), I just won’t get to sleep until the early morning. Good luck!
What a great dress! Love it.

So pretty!
Thanks Madeline! x
There is a spray melatonin you can find at Whole Foods or Pharmaca( any good health food store or natural pharmacy) you spray in your mouth, instant into blood stream. Really helps!
Thank you Cy, that is great advice! I will look into that. Right now I chew Vitafusion’s melatonin gummies at night which helps… but I’m still waking up!
You look *gorgeous*!!! So wonderful to see you this week; thank you so much for such a lovely girl date.
Happy weekend!

Hi , love this dress on you so much, could you tell me if you had to downsize ? I managed to find the dress in an 8, and as I am an eight normally, I feel that this particular style needs to be a size down so it fits me just as well as you. I would really appreciate your input as I am ordering it from the UK and the custom charges are sky high.
Hi! I took my regular size. I find that DVF typically runs a bit slim through the hips which is where I am widest, so I don’t typically size down in her pieces! Good luck! x
thx a lot, really appreciate
