Deck the Halls
In the past, I’ve decorated my house waayyyy early! I’d do it because I had holiday campaigns with brands (and honestly, after the election last year, I wanted something to cheer me up a bit!). It was fun, but by January, I would be over it and ready to tear it all down! This year, I don’t seem to have any holiday-specific work lined up, and I don’t mind that at all. I plan to set up my tree and bring down the decorations the weekend before Thanksgiving. Still, I am getting quite excited as I plan out my decor! Over on my ShopMy page, I’ve been saving favorite ornaments and holiday-related things, and last week we rounded up the prettiest holiday wrapping paper and ribbons.
These embellished taper candles are on my wish list, as is this tree topper. And this rattan tree skirt is gorgeous. Every year, I buy the annual Halcyon Days holiday box and just ordered this year’s last night. I was inspired by my friend Jillian on this; her mother has a giant tray of them from every year. I think they are a beautiful and special thing to collect.
