Curl Confessions!

I’m partnering up with Paul Mitchell over the next four months on a campaign that happens to be very near and dear to my heart… Curl Confessions.  This October, the brand is launching a new line of products, just for us curly/wavy types.   I’ve had the pleasure of playing around with them for the past week and have to say… they’re awesome.  But we’ll get to that in a future post.  For now, Paul Mitchell is asking you to share your curl confession.  The best part?  Free treats (in limited quantities) are involved!  Just go here, and share your own Do you love your curls?  Hate them?  Have a horror story to share?  Give them the details, and score free product.

Above is some of my favorite curl-spiration.  My own curl confession is that it’s taken me nearly thirty years to come to terms with my hair.  And even now, some days I feel good about it, but a lot of the time, I hate it.  It looks best when I put product in, don’t touch it, and don’t wash it for a few days.  Then the curls relax a bit and turn into beachy waves.  Now it’s your turn… share yours!

The first two hairstyles are beautiful and romantic. They’re mysterious too. Thanks for posting the photos and feel free to drop by me too when you have time.

these curls are beautiful. what a fun project… I wish I could get my wavy-ish hair to be amazing beachy waves. Instead, I straighten.

I struggled with straightening my hair as a teenager…In my 20s, I embraced my beachy waves and realized that going natural was a fabulous alternative to going sleek!
