If you are not familiar with CrOp by David Peck, then I strongly advise you to change that. The brand launched in 2010 with just a few pieces, and now has expanded (in a rather short period of time,) to a full line. CrOp has a conscience. The name is short for “Creative Opportunities,” something Peck aims to create by working with a network of artists who generate greater opportunities by working together. The line uses socially responsible, sustainable materials including organic fabrics and fair trade textiles. The majority of the fabrics are made here in the US, and each fabric is selected for its durability and low impact on the environment. Furthermore, 10% of sales goes to a different charity each season. For Fall, it is Covenant House.
Got all that? Good. Now, let’s get to the clothes, which are to die for. Jewel tone silks, high-low hems… you’re going to flip. (I did!)
I believe “dreamy” is the word you are looking for… wow.
