Do you ever feel like you are losing your mind a bit? That is me lately! Prior to my trip, my laundromat lost my favorite pair of jeans. And then I lost my favorite pair of sunglasses. On Saturday, I flew from Copenhagen to Belfast (via London). Our flight ended up being delayed an hour, which caused me to miss my connecting flight out of London. After a very long call with customer service I got onto the last flight to Belfast of the day (hooray!)… but my bag didn’t make it. That was annoying, but it wasn’t a big deal… the Belfast leg of this trip is so casual (I’m mostly spending time in sweatpants with my friends’ cute kids!)
I didn’t have any information on my stuff and was starting to get nervous so we went and bought new toiletries, underwear, etc. and then just as we’d done that we heard that my bags were being delivered within the hour! Isn’t that always the case? The second you give up, everything just works itself out! Aside from that little snafu, Belfast has been amazing. I’m having fun with my friends (yesterday we saw all sorts of Game of Thrones locations, etc) and really happy that the rest of my itinerary is only direct flights!
Anywayyyy, today we are taking a break from this crummy cold weather (it’s freezing in Europe too!) to bring you something beachy and sunny from California. You probably know by now that I just love a good caftan. Who doesn’t! They’re breezy and fun, hide a multitude of sins, and are basically just the perfect coverup. This one from Cooper & Ella is definitely a favorite – the print is epic, the little tassels + drawstring… l-o-v-e! This one is fab but I found a few more favorites here, here, here, here, and here! Happy caftan-ing!

They are the best!!! I highly recommend them. Just one thing – I have a HUGE head/face. So I always have to get a bigger style sunglass. So if you have a big face too they will be perfect, but I just wanted to warn you. x
