I’m back in New York after a fun week out on the West Coast. The first few days (bachelorette party in Sonoma) were the perfect mix of being both incredibly fun and also relaxing and the second part of my trip was spent doing fun work things. I stayed with Erica (of HonestlyWTF) for three nights in Oakland. Besides being my friend, Erica’s always been a little bit of a mentor and inspiration to me, and I left feeling so inspired. We spent all day Monday cooking up some fun DIY projects for our respective sites which was just the best. I’ve really, really missed making jewelry and am so excited by what we cooked up! Tuesday was spent meeting with some of my fave West Coast brands, and yesterday I flew home!
As for the clothes… in my everyday life, I gravitate towards pieces that are easy and unfussy. Although I work in fashion and love to experiment from time to time, I don’t always want to have to put a lot of thought into what I am wearing. On days like that, this swingy dress fits the bill. It’s easy and effortless (in a pretty blush shade) and better yet, it refuses to wrinkle.
Outfit Details: Club Monaco Waneda Jersey Dress // Clare V Double Sac Bretelle // J.Crew Espadrilles // BaubleBar Necklace // Lulu Frost Cuff // BaubleBar Ring
Some pretty little details. I love this cuff (from Lulu Frost’s new Nightshades Collection for Fall) so, so much. I’m wearing it with my Crystal Mason Ring and my nail polish color is CND Shellac in “Tropix.”
