Cats of Notting Hill.

If you know me well, or read this blog just a little bit, then you probably know about my hopeless obsession with any and all things cats. While in London, I went shopping at Selfridge’s (probably my favorite UK department store… though I love Harrod’s and Harvey Nichols too!)  and fell head over heels with this cat motif blouse. The subtle blush hue, the cheeky but not overly whimsical pattern… and THE BACK! Love. I paired it here with denim, but I can’t wait to wear it tucked in with an a-line mini skirt.

These photos were taken in London. I had such a wonderful time. I stayed at The Laslett Hotel in Notting Hill (we snapped these a block away) and I spent the duration of my trip seeing as many of the art museums + galleries as possible (I’d been to London once before and did most of the historical stuff, so it was fun doing the artsy stuff this time around.) More on that later, though!

Posing next to the cute cars in London won’t get old. It just won’t.

While I don’t show it in every post, I’m rarely without my Helen Ficalora Charm necklace. I’ve been slowly adding charms to it since I moved to New York in 2006 and it’s one of my most treasured pieces of jewelry.

A funny story about my Tribute Sandals. I’ve had this pair for over five years now… replacing the tip of the stiletto every so often, and I swear by them. For weddings, parties, nights out… they’re the sassiest heels and they are a) easy to walk in and b) easy to stand in all night long. On my last day in London, I went to the Victoria & Albert Museum to check out their shoe exhibit. I was so, so excited to see my Tributes (the exact pair I’m wearing!) featured in the exhibit… but I had to giggle at the caption… Stripper Heels! Stripper heels or not… I still love them more than any of my other shoes.
