Girls and Pearls…

My outfit posts are getting really inconsistent over here. One day it’s bare legs and a blazer.. another day it’s a wool coat and a big snuggly scarf. Blame it on the (infuriating) weather. My spring clothes are out, my winter clothes are out, and my tiny closet is complete madness. Could Spring just get here already?

In the meantime, here’s a fave combo for those cooler days. Louise Roe came into our office at BaubleBar a month or so ago looking chic as hell in these boots. I was a little bit intimidated meeting her but couldn’t stop staring at her boots so I finally just asked her where she’d got them. I figured they were probably incredibly expensive but was shocked to learn that they were actually Kristen Cavallari for Chinese Laundry! I’d been looking for a great pair of gray boots forever so I ordered my own pair as soon as I got back to my desk. Love. them. I probably won’t get much more wear out of them this year, but I’ll be wearing them all Fall long, next year. (PS – 6pm has them in black at an even better price.)

My bracelets are from my new friend Lele Sadoughi‘s line. I bought them after visiting her showroom a few weeks ago. I love the industrial, slightly mechanical feel of them (especially this one… I have a habit of taking it off and playing with it when I’m stressed.) I’ll be featuring Lele on my blog this week… stay tuned for a fun Stripe Talk!

I never would have thought I’d get so much mileage from pink sunglasses, but I love my Samantha Wills Sunglasses! Highly recommend them, especially if you’re a blonde.

Haha I totally feel your confusion, it’s the same here in Central Europe and you absolutely can’t wear the same during lunchtime and evening, as once the Sun goes down it’s freezing! Love your outfit though, especially the coat 🙂

Loving those boots! ..and your bracelet. No wonder we are all walking around with the flu, the weather is so up and down you wouldn’t know it is supposed to be spring time already! I cannot wait to pack away my winter clothing.

Love those boots – but wondering how they fit in the calf? I don’t have monstrous calves, but they are definitely athletic and I need something that fits well over jeans, etc. Would you say that these boots might fit the bill?

      Hi Sarah,
These are pretty loose in the calf! I think they’d definitely work over jeans… they were roomy on me with leggings and tights.
