Chartreuse + Chocolate: A Favorite Fall Combo
Last year, I went hard on chocolate brown. I purchased these silky pants, a few sweaters, jacket, a few other things. I styled them either monochromatically, with navy blue or black, or with denim. This season, I am loving how chocolate supports some of my favorite brighter shades like chartreuse, turquoise, and even purple! I especially love chocolate with chartreuse or olive green. The pants pair so well with this sweater from La Ligne. The combination is a little bit earthy (like a garden!) but fresh and modern.
A few more ways I’d wear these colors together.
- Adding a simple chartreuse sock with a pair of loafers.
- Reversing the combo: chartreuse pants and a chocolate tee or sweater.
- For a casual WFH look: cords and a cashmere cardigan.
- For running around town: a barn jacket (this one has such fun details!) and a woven tote (I love this one and it’s a great price).
See what I mean? This combo is a bit unexpected, but I really love it. Below, you can find an assortment of my favorite chocolate and chartreuse pieces!

ha!!!
Thinking about buying the La Ligne Mini Marin. Do you recommend sizing up or taking your usual size?
Take your usual size! Def don’t size up. <3
Have you tried the mini Marina cardigan from La Ligne? I’m wondering if it’s worth the price. Thank you!
I’ve not but i’ve tried the Mini Marin and the Marin Cardigan and love both so I’m guessing it is. La Ligne’s sweaters are the best!
