the Nicholas Trott House (Charleston’s first brick building!)

I had such a great long weekend in Charleston! It was the perfect mix of doing and seeing a lot, and getting lots of good friend time in. I tried two (new to me) great restaurants – Monza and Feathertop, finally ate one of Callie’s Hot Little Biscuits for breakfast, went to an old favorite (Park Cafe) TWICE, checked out the recently renovated Gibbes Museum, and of course did a bit of shopping at Hampden.

The city was hot, hot, hot (New York feels cold by comparison) and I stayed with my friend Deirdre and her husband + daughter. All in all, a perfect little weekend away.

PS – In the interest of being thorough updated my Charleston City Guide with a few new-to-me faves! If you are planning a trip, definitely bookmark it!

I got this cute matchy set on sale at Hampden. Of course I cannot find it online anywhere, but the designer is JW Anderson. My friend Stacy (the owner) knows me so well… she set it aside for me and of course I absolutely LOVED it! I paired it with my Marni sandals and my Carter G earrings.

My bracelets are Julie Vos and I bought my iphone case from Deirdre’s store, Candyshop Vintage. The designer is called Stoned by Stone and she has such a fun instagram + Etsy Shop!

These flowers are called Crepe Myrtles… aren’t they gorgeous! They are everywhere on the street, this time of year.

Hanging out a little bit at The Restoration Hotel before we headed up to their rooftop for drinks. Such a good drinks spot – highly recommend it!

um THOSE PHONE CASES!!! *heart eyes*

I just opened the etsy shop in a second tab and am totally about to drool over (and perhaps indulge in… 😉 ) all those options.

But I had to compliment your gorgeous, breezy, feminine dress before I go!
