I’ve always had a thing for rough cut crystals. I don’t know what it is, I just love them. I think its because I’m a bit of a hippie at heart. Rough cut crystals remind me of the Grateful Dead {always playing when I was a kid}, patchouli, and the tie-dyed tee shirts I loved wearing as a kid.
This week I discovered Charlene Court’s line of jewelry and instantly did a double take. Especially when I saw this ring. I can honestly say that I’ve never seen anything quite like it. I really think that it belongs in a museum… a miniature work of art. Naturally, it is entirely out of my budget… but that doesn’t mean I can’t admire its beauty. Its funny – I am usually more of a delicate rings girl, but this ring… it just speaks to me. Love.
PS – Not nearly as cool, but I did a few rough cut crystal DIY projects here + here!
Stunning! There is something so unexpected about a rough cut crystal.
