Well, it’s fitting that today’s post would pertain to snow as it is certainly snowing in the Northeast! Snowmaggedon, or so we’re calling it. We took these photos before work one morning and it started to snow just as we were taking them… hence me wearing completely inappropriate footwear and jeans. Oops. But it’s a cute outfit for a non snow day. (And for the record, after we took these photos I marched right back upstairs and put on different jeans and snow boots!) If you live in the Northeast, I hope you are staying warm and safe… (or if you are able to… out, playing in the snow!)

I always say that a navy pea coat is one of the best things you can invest in for the winter. It goes with everything and never goes out of style. I bought this one from J.Crew three years ago and love it (I really love how it has built in sweater/arm warmers. This one, from Lands End is a great option (at a great price!) and at the other end of the spectrum, this Miu Miu one is worth saving for!

PS – This is the best t-shirt… and it’s only $11! I’m wearing the navy stripes here but also have the gray and the navy.

Shop the Post: J.Crew Coat (from a few years ago… love this affordable option and this splurge) // Old Navy Striped Tee // 7FAM Boyfriend Jeans (old but love these or these) // Margaret O’Leary Cashmere Wrap // Gucci Soho Disco Bag {also here, and here in a nice neutral} // Manolo Blahnik Suede Pumps// Karen Walker Sunglasses

This is so cute! I love the classic, preppy, casual vibe! And I am super delayed in this, but congrats on the launch of the new site! It looks amazing, you’ve done such a great job! Hope you’re staying warm and safe – I am thoroughly enjoying my snow day (even though it snows all the time in eastern Canada, getting a real snow day is so rare… they never let us stay home!)

Phenomenal look, as always! Totally agree that it’s not weather-appropriate, but it’s still a great look;)
