This little off the shoulder dress is my favorite thing in my closet right now. It started with the top I wore in Friday’s post. I got it during the Shopbop sale (unsure of if it would work), but I loved it so much I ended up ordering the dress as well. Both the dress and the top have an inner corset/bra situation, which more or less (sorry but there is no better way to describe this) smashes your boobs down while also pushing them up. So it’s very very supportive, stays up all day without any adjustments, and just looks really cute on. I really love it. I paired it with my feather heels and a little white bag for dinner at FIG in Charleston with Victoria and Julia.

I hope you guys had a good weekend! Mine was jam packed with moving. Lots and lots of work but every night I had a different friend over to catch up/unwind with a little vino and cheese. That proved to be a good strategy – workworkwork… and then something fun to look forward to in the evening. It’s funny, I’m such a night owl generally but found myself passed out asleep by 10:30 every night… I don’t think I realized it as I was so excited to unpack but all that lifting + putting things together + moving things around and unpacking is exhausting!
And then yesterday’s weather was just absolutely beautiful… I stopped by Summers (my new go-to) for avocado toast, sat outside and worked, and then went running… across the Williamsburg bridge. Afterward, my friend Sarah came over and we had rosé (first of the season!) and a little cheese plate. The perfect little Sunday.
It’s funny how the warm weather and a change of scenery can totally reinvigorate and reinspire you… I’m feeling much more inspired with both my work (and my workouts) in my new home… and exploring a new part of town is so exciting and fun. It’s nice finding new favorite spots and neighborhood gems… eventually I will have to do a Williamsburg city guide… but that won’t be for a while til I’m a bit more seasoned. 😉 For now, let’s just pray the cable guy finally shows up so that I can get my Internet and cable connected… I had such FOMO with the Big Little Lies finale last night!
