How was your weekend?
Mine was a good mix of lazy and fun. On Friday we stayed in and ordered sushi. It was really nice to have a night in. We watched The Bodyguard (SO GOOD AND IF YOU WATCHED CAN WE PLS DISCUSS THAT LAST EPISODE? I’ve never had so much TV-induced stress!) and then moved onto (both!) Home Alone movies. There’s something so nice about a solid TV/movie marathon after a busy week.
On Saturday we went up to Bedford for my friend Deirdre’s holiday party. So much fun! (Also, I really liked my outfit – I wore this green zebra print dress with a narrow Gucci belt over it, and a fun sequin turban!) I really love going up to Bedford – it’s such a cute town, everyone is so nice, and as I said in Saturday’s post, you feel like you are so far from the city.
Outfit Details: Eileen Fisher Coat (runs big, wearing an XS, on sale, also available here and in green!) // White & Warren Cardigan (wearing a small, also here) // Good American Jeans // Polaroid Sunglasses // Chanel Purse // Manolo Blahnik Heels
This is a current favorite outfit of mine. A piece in my wardrobe that gets a LOT more wear IRL than on the blog has been this Eileen Fisher coat. It’s the absolute softest. I featured it in this post about my travel uniform, and can’t recommend enough. It also comes in forest green, which I love. I also really love this oversized cardigan sweater and I’m basically always in my Manolos – they’re chic, easy, and always in style. The red is fun this time of year as it’s a little bit festive, but I wear them year ’round whenever I want a little pop of color.
