My bags are packed, the car is booked, and I’m headed to LA until Wednesday night. There’s just something about the West Coast that I adore. Even though I’m an East Coaster through and through, I love it out there… (note that I do not say New Yorker… though I’ve lived here for nearly six years, home will always be Cape Cod.)
On the agenda? A bunch of work-related meetings during the week, but lots of relaxing over the weekend. Beach time, driving through the hills, dinners with friends, a screening of one of the boyfriend’s film… we’ll see where the weekend takes us!
It also has to be said… I’m pretty happy to be escaping this sadistic New York heat!
