Annnd, after an amazing long weekend in warm + sunny Charleston, it is back to the freezing cold temps in New York. Brrr! I have so many friends coming into town for fashion week, and when they ask me what to pack, I’m not really sure what to tell them. A big coat. Over the knee boots (but not nice ones, you don’t want to ruin them with the salt + snow + slushy streets.) Hats. Big sweaters and scarves. Thick tights. And a sleeping bag, basically. Or hell, just bring your pajamas and hang out inside the whole time. (#badadvice)

I’ve been really into thin stacking rings – I’m wearing two thin Ellie Jay diamond bands on my index finger and a Dana Rebecca (wedding – ha) band on my middle finger.

Such a cute outfit!
Bundled up outfit, but you still look so pretty and stylish! I like your bag and sunnies a lot!

I love the rings like that – those bands are gorgeous. Can’t wait to hear about your trip to Charleston! Hope you had the best time!
I’ve been down in Houston this weekend, but I actually found some thin rings just like these and fell in love!
i love that coat! so cute. xo jillian
Love the peak of plaid 🙂
*peek 😉 oops!
Definitely boots! I split my time between FL and NYC (accidental thirty-something snowbird!), and I’m a little out of practice in dressing for this weather. I was in town this weekend and I felt like I was literally the only fool trying to navigate the messy streets in regular old shoes.
My chapped hands would like to add gloves to your list. You think you’ll be fine and it isn’t that cold and then…ouch.
You look adorable! I love this outfit – if only it was Fashion Week acceptable. I also LOVE that you enjoyed Charleston so much! Have you been to Savannah?
The pops of red and plaid look so cute with the light gray coat! Great color combo and a little cheer for these cold snowy days.
cutest gif ever!
Okay I can’t get enough of those rings! I just love the look of delicate stacked bands, even if they are usually for weddings!

The J. Crew weather is so necessary for the current frigid temps! Happy Monday 🙂

That is a beautiful coat. Your photos are adorable. I always love your outfit posts.
So cute and cozy! Hard to relate with the near 80 degree temperatures here (kind of wish it would get cooler!) however loving the plaid and cozy coat. And, ps: those sunnies are now in my Nordstrom cart… perfect price point with the Karen Walker vibe! Thanks for the find.
