Last Thursday night (alongside my friend Jess), I helped to host Brahmin’s Fall Preview, titled “Wearable Art.” The preview was held on the rooftop penthouse of the Hotel Giraffe on Park Avenue and was a truly elegant affair. Outside on the roof, there were cocktails, mixing, and mingling… and inside the penthouse there was an gorgeous display featuring a selection of Brahmin’s Fall bags. Inspired by the “Bohemian Voyageur,” the collection features luxe touches… such as fur, tortoise, turkish blue, and lizard. One of the things I love most about Brahmin is that they keep their silhouettes so simple and classic but then mix things up when it comes to textures and patterns. It makes experimenting with trends so much more easy and approachable.
For the event, I paired a SEA eyelet crop top with a Topshop Scalloped Skirt and my go-to silver heels (I still can’t believe I was able to keep them on from 8am til 9pm when I got home! Obviously, I took along my new Brahmin Bag (so in love with the tonal stripes + mix of textures on this one), though I was already thinking about which bag I want next. It’s an addiction… while Brahmin is a brand I’ve only just started wearing, I’ve become a little obsessed and want to collect them all. The quality is incredible and the silhouettes are timeless.
The bag above is on my wish list for Fall. Everything about it is perfect. You can’t tell from the photo but it has this amazing zipper that goes all the way around the bag. I don’t see it on the site yet, but the entire tortoise collection is heaven.
With the lovely Jess… she is rocking the hell out of that dress, no?
The fur collection is even better in person – so soft & silky!
Ooh. Mad lust for that tortoise bag, too! I think Louis Vuitton calls that style ALMA.
That was so fun! I’m already obsessing over what bag I want next. Can’t wait to see you in September. xx
