Another weekend has come and gone and at about 3pm yesterday afternoon, I declared myself too exhausted for pants or further human interaction. And so I ended up reading The Luckiest Girl Alive, all in one sitting. Oops. It was pretty fantastic, just sitting and reading for hours after what was a very whirlwind week and weekend! I’ve been constantly on the go/and or entertaining out of friends so it felt so nice to relax for a bit.
I never thought I’d try a skort until I saw this one at J.Crew, and then it was all over. I loved the blush hue and the structured silhouette, and it’s a bit unexpected. I paired it with my favorite tee and necklace for a look that’s perfect for running around the city but still polished.

Oh my gosh your skort, I love it! A friend of mine has a cute skort that she wears all the time in the summer, she calls it her ‘play skirt’ because it is so much better for all the summer activities and fun! Love how this skort is pleated that it makes it a tad fancier!
