Sarah Creal’s New Lip Glosses

Sarah Creal is one of those brands where I seem to like every product they make. I did a longer review of the brand as a whole (this has more detailed reviews of all of my favorite products from the brand) but with No Further Questions, they just launched lip glosses, which I was very excited to try. I love a lip gloss. I got three colors: Calm Down, Shut Up, and Deal With It. Today I’m going to share my thoughts on the glosses, and show you all three shades on.

Dianna Singh: The Beauty Editor Who Launched a Caftan Line

One of the trickier parts of running this blog is trying to please everyone. “That’s too expensive!” or “Cute, but it doesn’t come in my size!” are two of the most common pieces of feedback Carly and I receive. Believe me: we take it as a challenge. We both spend hours every week scouring the internet for cool clothes under $200 that we’d want to wear (and that come in a full range of sizes). This isn’t me complaining—just giving you context for why I’m so excited about today’s find.

Polarizing Purple: Fall’s Most Divisive Trend

Purple can be polarizing! It’s my mom’s favorite color, and I know so many people who love it, but it doesn’t get very much love in my own wardrobe. It’s been all over the media, though. Vogue named electric purple “Fall’s color to watch”, detailing how high-fashion labels like Gucci, Miu Miu, and Anna Sui are embracing the hue in everything from velvet blazers to mod accessories. Purple has historically signaled power and glamour. Meanwhile, Marie Claire declared it “the easiest way to dress like you inherited a fortune,” and Bazaar had a great piece about how purple ruled the runway at NYFW.

Beachy Sets for the End of Summer

I can’t believe we’re (well) into August! Summer has absolutely flown by. Between travel, work stuff, and trying to soak up every bit of sunshine, and life, it’s all been a bit of a blur. Right now, I’m gravitating toward easy, breezy beachy sets: the kind of thing you can throw on without a second thought and still look effortlessly pulled together. I always say this, but the versatility of a matching set just can’t be beat.

How to Style Floral Dresses With a Modern, Effortless Twist

This Washington Post article has lived rent-free in my head for the past month or so. Are floral and milkmaid style dresses a political statement? God no! I love my floral dresses because they help me feel pulled together on the hottest summer days. They are a mainstay in my wardrobe, especially in the spring and summer months. There’s just something about slipping into a breezy, blooming print that makes me feel effortlessly dressed. Whether it’s soft and delicate or bold and colorful, floral prints have this effortless charm I love so much.
