DS & Durga I Don’t Know What

This is a) one of the most subtle perfumes I have and also b) my most complimented! If you love Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, or other lighter “you but better” fragrances like Missing Person, I think you’ll love this, it’s one of my absolute favorites! I Don’t Know What is a unisex scent. It technically has no notes, but when I smell it, I get the fresh citrusy-ness that comes from bergamot, lemon, vetiver, and sandalwood. It’s cool, dry, bright, and clean. It smells so good — whether you wear it alone or opt to layer it!

A Pumpkin Spice Cocktail Recipe That Feels Like Fall

I can hardly believe that summer’s winding down. It’s still plenty warm here in Charleston, but I’m more than ready to lean into all things fall. The cozy layers, moody hues, and, most importantly, the seasonally appropriate cocktails or mocktails. I’ve said it before, but I’m not the biggest pumpkin spice fan… I know, how dare I?! The Starbucks PSL is not for me–too sweet! I do love a pumpkin spice candle (this, this, and this are all favorites!), but as far as the lattes go? I’ve never been a big fan. I was feeling a little left out of the festivities until I discovered a new deliciously fall (but not too sweet) cocktail: the Pumpkin Spice Old-Fashioned.

A September Wish List

Ooh this little wish list is so fun. There are so many good things I’ve been pinning (I have a private “want” pinboard on Pinterest, adding things to that is almost as satisfying as actually shopping. I must call out Katie Armour’s beautiful Substack, which is a treasure trove of new and interesting discoveries. It is through her that I found the silk fish bag and Astier de Villate’s gorgeous new ceramic pendants. Hmm, what else do I have to tell you!? I can’t stop thinking about this Ulla Johnson dress.

5 Things That Are Inspiring Me Right Now

I thought it would be fun to start the week with a little inspiration. This is what the inside of my brain looks like right now.
