A New Sponsor…

As you can tell, I’m a little bit picky about my sponsors.  I’m starting to get a fair amount of sponsor requests (yay!) but I don’t want to put anything up here that I’m not totally gaga for.  I also like it when they add in a little something special (meaning discount,) for my readers!

Birchbox’s Featherific Fete!

It’s no secret – I love a good party.  And a party that incorporates beauty products and shopping?  Heaven!  Last night, Birchbox threw down a fun one.  They transformed their office into a super-fab event space – complete with pink flowers and treats (jelly beans, cupcakes, and taffy.)  The open bar didn’t hurt either… the wine was a-flowing (or at least it was for my sister and I.)  Possibly the coolest part?  If you spent $60, you got a free feather hair extension.

Beauty Adventures… Getting Sprayed at City Sun!

Hello, my name is Grace and I’m a tanorexic. OK, not really.  Not at all, actually.  And no, that scary looking lady is not me.  Ever since I had to get a mole removed a few years ago, I’ve been a little bit terrified of the sun.  Not terrified enough to avoid it completely, but enough to always wear sunscreen, and to stay far, far away from tanning beds.

Operation Beach Bod: Update #2

Gymspiration from Matthew Williamson Last week was a tough one.  Gibson (my trainer,) decided that I was ready to pump up the workouts.  So we’re doing more sets and repetitions, and resting less and less in between.  Ouch.  I’m actually a lot less sore now though, as my body is getting more and more used to the challenge.
