You guys. First of all thank you so much for all the comments on Wednesday’s Q&A post! I really loved writing it and I’m so happy you enjoyed it. I had secretly worried that if I did a Q&A, no one would ask me any questions… ha! I guess I don’t really find myself to be particularly interesting. Anyway since then, I’ve gotten a ton more questions so you can look out for Q&A #2 next week.
I’m still in shock that Labor Day Weekend is here. Where did summer go? I had a really wonderful summer, but it flew by. Crazy. I’m in the city tonight and then tomorrow my sister and I are going on a little adventure.
As for this outfit, these are two classic pieces that every girl should own. First, a great white crop top with sleeves. I think sleeves make it a little more versatile and age appropriate. I’m in my thirties so if I’m going to show a sliver of skin at my waist, I’m going to cover up my arms. And this skirt. I am so glad I bought it. I’ve worn it a million times (and two other times on the blog – here + here). I bought mine last year and it sold out, but luckily the brand brought it back this year… it’s available in all sizes at Saks. Nordstrom Rack also has it in a few sizes + more colors on sale — if you are an XS, hop to it! (I’m wearing a small, for reference). Initially I wasn’t sure about a black midi-skirt and in hindsight, I really don’t know why – I wear it with absolutely everything… crop tops, a knotted chambray top, a simple tee tucked in, and so on and so forth. Thanks Jackie! Actually it was different light. It was a weird day and the light kept changing. I didn’t like these photos as much as my usual ones (also I was really, really sweaty!) but the light kept changing and getting spotty! I’m glad you liked them, though! xx
