Bits & Pieces from Fashion Week

I don’t usually get all that into fashion week.  I’ll go to one or two shows and feel like I’ve had my fill.  I end up feeling like cattle most of the time – being herded from place to place, trying to sneak in a photo here or there… it’s overwhelming and most of the time I’d rather just be cozy at home with a cup of tea and my laptop, pouring over the photos on Style.com.

With everything going on in my personal life, I’ve wanted to be out and about as much as I possibly can.  I let myself get into the hype this year and have to tell you… I had a lot of fun!  For me, it’s really more about seeing my friends out and about (and of course, seeing the clothes – but let’s be real… I’m usually in standing room so the views will always be better online.)  I spent the week bouncing from work to show to presentation… seeing friends, seeing the clothes… I’m tired now, but it was worth it.

I documented my favorite shows + presentations here on the blog… Lulu Frost, Kate Spade, J.Crew, Cynthia Rowley, Christian Siriano, Rebecca Taylor… but here are a few more fun snaps I took throughout the week.

So maybe I’ll get a little more into fashion week going forward.  We’ll see.
