When I was in my twenties and college I slept in pretty much whatever I could find (an old tee, ratty sweats), and so on and so forth but as I have gotten a little bit older (and spend more time at home) I have come to really value a great pair of comfy pajamas. There is something so nice about washing your face, maybe doing a little face mask, slipping into pretty pajamas and then spending an hour before bed reading. I’ve really become a bit of a homebody in the past few years and I am not ashamed of it. But anyway – you know by now of my obsession with the Beverly Hills Hotel (more on that later this week, actually) but I bought this Martinique inspired-pair from Sant & Abel lonnng before I’d ever stayed at the hotel.
I also love a good sleep shirt. J.Crew has some great ones (and they can be monogrammed which is nice). I’ve gotten to the point where I now have three J.Crew sleep shirts. They’re cozy and easy. There’s something so comforting about menswear style pajamas. I think that this stripy pair may be next on my list… I love that they’re made out of stretchier jersey cotton.
For something a little more feminine I love a good slip or chemise. I have + love this navy blue silk chemise from Stella McCartney (love this this one too!). I have this lacy one as well, which is a much better price – it’s really comfy. This is a little neurotic possibly, but I actually hang all my silkier pajamas at the back of my closet with my dresses as I don’t want them get wrinkled folded up with my less-fancy things!
Another cute combo is a little camisole + shorts set. This one is so sweet (and a great price). Or try pairing a simple tank or tee with lace-trimmed shorts. I also love a classic pajama set like this one from Eberjey.
Last but not least, after spending the weekend with Briony I am now obsessed with ASOS’s assortment of affordable but super cute pajamas. B wore this set of marbled pajamas during our Parisian slumber party. They are only $52 and look so much more expensive than they are. (They look like Olivia Von Halle!) I am ordering a pair with my next ASOS order. This star set is also very cute and so is this rose set.

Ha – agreed. I do love an old tee though. I still have one from college that is about fifteen years old and so soft + amazing!

I love the pajamas you’re wearing in this post. I am in college and sadly fall victim to wearing an oversized t-shirt and shorts, but have been on the hunt for cute pj’s to up my sleep-wear game. Love your suggestions!!
