You probably need this striped dress. It’s sort of just the best. I always love the idea of stripe jersey dresses in theory… but then I put them on and find myself regretting the decision – especially once I see photos. The swingy fit and flare silhouette on this one means it will always look good, andddd it has pockets! Instant-favorite status. It’s from Jane Hudson, designed by a friend of mine, Kristin Celano. I met her at a party in Charleston (her stuff is at that cute store Skinny Dip), found out that she lives in Williamsburg too, and the rest was history. She originally set out to design cute dresses that would be chic for gameday. While I’m not a sports fan, I love the idea… think blue & orange for the Florida Gators, navy & red for the Patriots, and so on and so forth. Meanwhile I’m just really excited to have found a striped dress that’s actually super flattering!
I hope you guys had a fun weekend! Our 100cameras fundraiser went off without a hitch on Friday, and yesterday I had friends over for brunch. I cooked up a feast and we sat around my new dining table drinking wine until about 8pm. I love when brunch spills into dinner!
