The Perfect Strappy Sandal…

the best spring sandals! t by alexander wang camel coat, topshop slip dress, gucci soho disco bag, dsw mix no. 6 strappy sandals - grace atwood, the stripe

Amongst the fashion + celebrity set, there is a certain ubiquitous pair of strappy sandals that everyone seems to have. They lengthen your legs, go with nearly everything, and basically make you feel a bit like a supermodel. Alas, they are rather expensive which can make a person question spending hundreds of dollars on what is essentially just two tiny pieces of patent leather, meticulously attached to a sky-high stiletto.

Still… you want them, as they make your legs look a zillion miles long (and make dressing for weddings and parties a cinch – why would you want to wear anything else?!) I was pretty excited to spot this pair of sandals at DSW (identical to that spendier pair), and even happier when I tried them on and found them to be even more comfortable! It doesn’t always happen, but I do generally try to spend less on my party shoes as I’m so rough on them. These are perfect, and at just under $30, I plan to scoop up the black pair as well! I was pretty impressed by Mix No. 6’s selection of shoes overall. Everything is so well priced and the quality is great! Other pairs on my wish list include these classic nude pumps, these studded flats, and these strappy coral sandals.

Mix No. 6 also has some pretty fun accessories. The gold details on this clutch make it look so much more luxe than its under $40 pricetag. I also love this striped weekender and can never resist a great pom pom beanie!

I love that these heels aren’t sky high! I don’t own many because I wasn’t born with much grace when it comes to walking in heels so every little bit helps 😉

Try these! I’m the exact same (really struggled wearing the Stuart Weitzman nudistsong’s) and found these to be much more manageable!

I own no heeled sandals so I need to get on that.

Scratch that – I own pink heeled sandals and they were a mistake.

You look gorg! Your hair is perfect and love the shoes. Also, good to note for the vegan girls( was for a short time) alas my feet get too sweaty for synthetic leather. Love the striped weekender though

That H & M printed dress from Kelly’s picks yesterday is perfect for you! You probably already bought it?

Ha, you know me well… I really want it but have not bought it yet!!!! I want to see it in stores first as H&M’s stuff tends to be hit or miss for me – it doesn’t always fit me properly!

Very pretty and elegant. Some season confusion happening. Heavy coat for cool weather and very dainty open warm-temp heels. I just can’t wrap my mind around the combination. Does not compute.
