I am, generally speaking, just not into bar soap. Inside my shower, you’ll find no fewer than six shower gels {my favorite at the moment being this delicious gourmand} and even a shower oil {incredible if you suffer from severely dry skin} but not a bar soap in sight. Not a bar soap in sight until… I received this one in a gift bag. I normally would have just given it to one of my guy friends {because guys always seem to love bar soaps} but set this one aside because I had tried Sai Sei’s seaweed bath soak last year and it was absolutely amazing {I wrote about it a while back, here}
I brought it in to the shower and proceeded to lather up. The results were impressive. The loofah exfoliated and got my skin nice and clean, but more importantly my skin was not at all tight or dry afterward. And the loofah was effective without being abrasive. All benefits aside, it just felt really good – like I was really treating myself and doing something special for me after a long day. And let’s be honest – I love a good multi-tasker. Less time in the shower = more time to spend on my hair. Or, let’s be real… more time to sleep in!!! The soap is available here.
I love this, too! Actually, I’ve been hooked on Sai Sei products ever since I had the chance to try out their lotion while perusing space.nk. So good, and the smell is amazing!
I have never heard of this stuff before. Will have to order some asap!
Hmm sounds good!

You know what, I’m the same about soap, or at least I used to be. As a kid I suffered with terrible eczema and was always told never to use bar soap as it would dry my already parched skin. But a while back I was given some Lush soaps as a gift, and I thought it would be a shame to waste them so I used them – and I’ve never looked back. I use a Dove bar every day now, but I often think I should try and find something more luxurious! Thanks for the tip!
ordered one after reading this. can’t wait to try it!
