I’m really excited to team up with CVS this month on a series of blog posts highlighting my favorite drugstore beauty finds. It was important to me that the first one highlight natural products. I try to stick to the 80/20 rule of using all natural beauty products. My philosophy is that I should probably make sure that the products I use a lot of (especially body lotion + shower gel) are all natural…. simply from a surface area perspective… I use a lot of those things!
I was blown away by the selection of natural products at my local CVS (I go to the one on the corner of 14th Street and 5th Avenue) – there was a huge area dedicated just to green beauty, which made me so happy! Today I am going to tell you about five realllllly good natural finds – all from CVS, who knew!? I think there is a big misconception that quality natural beauty products are either a) hard to find, b) very expensive – but all of these are not only available at CVS but also very affordable!
This Burt’s Bees Day Cream has been a favorite drugstore product of mine for a long time now as it does everything I want it to (helps with firming, anti-aging, + even skin tone) but also contains an SPF. I’ve found it hard to find an all natural day cream that contains SPF and love this one. I have said this before and will say it again, it’s really important to wear SPF every day, even if you are indoors. You won’t find a better product at this $20 price point!
Jason’s Smoothing Coconut Body Wash is another everyday favorite. I actually decanted this into a pretty glass bottle in my shower as the bottle is huge (30 oz!) It gets skin clean, leaves it soft (it’s packed with shea butter + coconut oil), and it smells truly amazing. I have always had a huge thing for coconut (it’s one of my all time favorite scents) but I realize that coconut is not for everyone. Lucky for you all, it also comes in rosewater, lavender, and soothing aloe.
Andalou Lift & Firm Cream is your new favorite $25 night cream. I will admit to being a huge sucker for anything that says lifting and firming as I’m terrified of the day that the skin on my face starts to sag. After cleansing + toning the skin, apply a generous amount of this cream using upward strokes. It contains fruit stem cell complex, DMAE, + hyaluronic acid (one of my favorite ingredients as it plumps up skin, diminishing fine lines).
Alba Botanicals Cocoa Butter is my favorite body moisturizer right now. Is anyone else completely obsessed with cocoa butter? I love the way it smells – I wish there was a cocoa butter perfume. It’s this faint, cocoa scent. Not overtly sweet, but still a little bit gourmand (aka you will want to eat it). It smells so good and leaves skin deeply hydrated.
Derma e Glycolic Cleanser is packed with Glycolic Acid + papaya (two more favorite ingredients of mine as they both exfoliate and renew skin’s texture without irritation). It removed all of my makeup, left it soft + smooth, + did not irritate my skin at all.
It makes me happy to see more drugstores taking a more forward-thinking approach. Adding a big assortment of natural products is so great to see. They also make it easy to shop risk free with their 100% satisfaction Beauty Guarantee on beauty purchases. If you’re dissatisfied for any reason, you can return the beauty product (opened or unopened) along with your receipt to any store for a full-price refund, no questions asked!

I’m a huge Jason and Alba fan. I love their coconutbody lotion. ( I swear it gets rid of those back of arms bumps) A huge bottle is less than 15$ at drug stores. I also love PALMER coconut butter oil skin cleanser. @ $8. I know you are a fan of oil cleansers. It takes all your make up completely off, even long wearing and you can’t beat the price. I can’t wait to try all these other things you recommended. If I can do without the chemicals I’m all in.
oooh I am going to have to try that – I love oil cleansers and I love cocoa butter! Thanks for the tip! xx
Maybe that’s the same Alba coconut lotion? I buy mine in a huge bottle with a pump. It’s amazing, I think because it’s mostly cocoa butter( like you on a huge fan)
I bet it is! You mean cocoa butter right? They had a larger size, which I am buying next because it is AMAZING!!!
Yes coconut butter lotion by Alba. Can wait to buy the body wash!
Oh yay! Yes it smells SO SO good!!!
SUCH a great post, love!! Also, it must be said that your brows have been looking incredible these days 😉 xx
Aw, thanks so much friend! xoxo
I love Derma E! Great brand!
Me too!!! I only just discovered them a few months ago but now I’m obsessed!!!
That rosewater body wash by jason sounds like a dream! I love roses! Gonna pop by my local CVS (it’s called Long’s Drugs in Hawaii, lol) to pick some up! Thanks for the recommendations! Jessika / beautybyjessika.com
Aw I never knew that!!! Hope you love it! x
I am behind the times on natural beauty stuff but THANK YOU for this post! Helps that things are affordable, makes the switch easier.
