Friday! And September. How!? I have to tell you, I had a weird week. I got a piece of news that came as a shock, but wasn’t really a shock? It was just weird to process. And it made me think about inadequacy and the way that we compare ourselves to others. Life is funny. In the scheme of things my life is really just great. But then you hear something that someone else is doing and you compare yourself and it’s pretty easy to feel awful and inadequate and sad. (I’m sorry for being vague, but I have learned the hard way to keep some things private, especially when it comes to someone else’s information!)
I guess, after a lot of reflecting, and thinking, that the thing is… you can only focus on you, and you can’t compare. And all you can do is just hope that you are doing the right thing and that the universe will take care of the rest.
But anyway, this dress is everything. I bought it when I was in Montauk last month and have worn it a LOT. It’s appropriate for every season and the colors are pretty wonderful. Also, I know I have been talking about these wedges a lot but they truly are the best, and they are only $49 right now. Honestly, just buy every color. I started with the bronzed clay (above!) and also bought the black patent and the black suede.

I think I’d probably say go up to a 9? I am a true 8.5 but if sizing up/down, I get an 8… the 8.5 fits perfectly. Not sure!!!
Love these wedges, I originally got the bronze clay as well then ended getting the other two pairs. They are soooo comfortable. That dress is everything on you.

Whatever the news is, don’t compare yourself! You have to know that you’re a huge inspiration to girls with dreams to be as amazing of a fashion blogger as you are (including myself!). I think what you have accomplished with your blog is absolutely incredible. Plus, this outfit is FABULOUS and you look beyond gorgeous.
